Autumn 2017 Miss. Artists Guild Show
This nonjuried show is at the Jackson Museum of Art on North State Street. I have two paintings entered, Mauve Pink Rose, and Lake and Egret. We had one small reception already, mostly for club members and friends, and another reception is contemplated for later in November. The show hangs until November 30. It has been a busy season for me with four shows, and four paintings sold. There seems to be renewed interest in art this year. Hopefully that will continue.

St. Peter Art Show
This show was at St. Peter Episcopal Church on Spillway Road, Brandon, MS. It was in late September for one weekend only. I was fortunate to sell one painting of my three, Wagon Waiting, an ink and watercolor painting. There was a tremendous crowd of over 300 people, and over 100 paintings. It was a magnificent successful show, with many sales. The still lifes were notable. Most artworks were of small to medium size. I have been invited back next year. Certainly looking forward to it.

Getting Ready for Autumn
Here it is August of 2017, and I am busy painting away! I am getting ready for autumn art shows. I have signed up for three in September, which will be a whirlwind. Hoping for good weather at least for two of them. The Miss. Light Festival in February was exciting, and now I am renovating those four wood panels for display/sale for out of town shows. They could at least attract attention. Also I have three other smaller paintings that will be completed soon. Here's hoping that I get the results that I need.
